Salisbury Steak

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg and French onion soup in a large bowl. You can add more breadcrumbs if the mixture does not hold well in a ball. I added maybe 1/4 cup more to mine. You should be able to make about 6-8 balls depending on size.
    3. Brown the patties in a skillet on the stove. Drain off any juice.
    4. After browning, place the patties in an oven safe dish. Cover the patties with the beef broth and mushrooms.
    5. Place in oven for 45 minutes.
    6. Thicken sauce with corn starch as needed.
